Day #3: Museu de Arte

2/13/12
After we left the hotel, we took a cab to the Museu de Arte de Sao Paulo. As we entered the enormous glass building, a collection of Western art hung up on the walls. Walking further, we noticed over 7,000 collections of African and Asian art, antiques, and decorative arts. We also saw Brazilian art, prints, and drawings, that are considered the finest art in Latin America! We learned that the Museu de Arte has one of the largest art libraries in Brazil. This museum was definitely Anna's and Samii's favorite out of the two.

Day #2: Museu de Futeboll

2/13/12

After a deliocous breakfast this morning at the hotel, we took a cab to the soccer museum in Sao Paulo, which was under the stands of the Pacaembu Stadium! We heard it rains a lot here in February and it rained today. Hopefully, the weather will happen like the news forcast, sunny for the rest of the time we are in Sao Paulo. As we entered the museum, posters hung from every wall. Walking around the museum, we learned a lot about the history of Brazilian soccer, or futeboll  and Brazilian culture. Of course, Ryan spent all day shooting balls at the penaltly kick simulator section of the museum. Wini, snapping photos, spent all day at the section dedicated to the World Cups.

Day #1: Landing in Sao Paulo

 2/12/12

We just landed the overnight flight. It took off at 6:25 yesterday landed in Miami at 8:35, took off again and landed at 11:42 (it's 4:42 here) today in Sao Paulo. We had a long day of bumpy flights. The tv's on the plane were nice but the food was kinda bad. I'm (Anna) writing this on the cab to the hotel, Novotel Sao Paulo Jaragua. I hope the hotel has a good dinner because we are hungry!
